Nope, believe it or not. Macaroni grill has it and not bad. Not like momma made it ;-)
Yes we do have a gluten free pasta. We can use it in any of the main dishes. We can not do gluten free ravioli or gluten free mac and chesse. Feel free to contact us for more questions.
Great question.. have you tried calling them?
Soooo disappointing... They wear the Food Network review as a blinder to the fact that their food is over-priced, over cooked, and over-oiled. The pasta was super soggy and their "7 meat" bolognese was gamey with a hint of tomato sauce and little else. We ordered their signature Italian Mac & Cheese and it wasn't very cheesy tasting and relied more on the super thick layer of mozzarella on top.If you're looking for something verging on authentic, keep looking.
I read some good reviews about Giuseppe's and decided to give it a try. I was pleased. It is a small place, a few nostalgically attired with the checkered tablecloths. We were attended to right away and the food came promptly, though we didn't see anyone much after that. Our dishes--ziti and the chicken parmigiana--were authentic, well-seasoned and delicious. I saw many other dishes, that are hard to come by in Phoenix, on the menu and would like to return to try them. This was a business lunch and the restaurant was quiet enough for a good conversation. I would recommend Giuseppe's!
Absolutely delicious! The owner was friendly and greeted out table. Food was to die for. Baked ziti and the eggplant parmesean really hit the spot and had a flourless chocolate cake that melted in your mouth. So glad we made it during our visit!
Ordered the lasagna and omg it was so good!!! Best I've ever had aside my Memaw's. Since she passed away a year ago, I've really missed it. Will definitely order from again. Nowhere else makes lasagna like this.
I haven't been for dinner, with limited seating it's likely busy. I had the lunch special, Bolognese Ragu with fresh housemade pappardelle pasta and a 7 meat sauce. The fresh pasta was outstanding and the sauce very flavorful and delicious. You can't beat the lunch specials. A salad and bread included.
Really good pasta, which is homemade. I had the Sausage and peppers lunch special. Came with bread and a salad all for $10. Reasonable price and a good location. Will visit again.
The best little Italian restaurant in Phoenix.
The special was lobster ravioli and it was phenomenal. Cindy is a great waitress and works hard to make your dining experience enjoyable.
Awsome food. Great atmosphere. The pasta tastes like made from scratch, fresh, cooked to perfection. Definitely a Must. And service is as good at the food.
Just had dinner here tonight and it was awesome. It is open for dine in!!! I had the Penne al Salmone and my fiance has the lasagna. He said it was the best he's had in a long time. Will definitely be back!!!
This is one of the best Italian food places in Phoenix. It is so tasty and the staff is great. The dinning area is really tiny so if you don’t like crowded places, I wouldn’t recommend going. But if you can handle it (and possibly a wait) go! These picture are leftovers. Not the best but gosh darn was it delicious.
Love this place every time! Food is excellent and service is good. I always take friends when they are in town.
Best place ever. It is worth the hour drive for us to get there.
This is real Italian food. I'm visiting from out of state and this is the first place to ever bring back memories of my grandparents cooking. Three of my grandparents were born in Italy and everything about these dishes was spot on. I will probably visit Arizona again just for this food. I'm giving it 5 stars because the authenticity was there, the flavors are there and it's all home made. The food outweighs the couple of negatives. It took 50 minutes to get the food and tables that ordered after us were served before us. The fountain drinks were really watered down. But those couple issues, although in the moment were frustrating, vanished from my mind the moment I took the first bite. The owner walks the floor to check in on every table, which is very nice and appreciative. The staff was kind as well.
Cute place. Good food. Laid back. Will return when I can sit outside.
Baked ziti was delicious! Would definitely recommend
Great food awesome place spoke to owner on the way out felt like a boss. <---- check out that format.
As a native New Yorker, I am always looking for good Italian restaurants, but have not encountered many here in Phoenix.
Outstanding atmosphere & food.. The owner Rich is very personable as is his staff, Cindy our waitress was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend Giuseppe's for a nice evening out. Thank you Rich & Cindy.
I ordered the tortellini and a side of garlic bread. With most of the reviews I saw, I was expecting high quality fresh food. What I got, however, was pasta that tasted like the stuff you buy in the store smothered in off-brand meat sauce. The garlic bread was so salty (due to the copious amounts of garlic salt) that it was practically inedible. Maybe I ordered the wrong things, maybe the chef had an off night. All I know is they won't be getting a second chance from me.
WOW. This place is incredible. The vibe is relaxing and intimate. The food is so authentic and delicious. Tastes like you are in Italy!! House made pasta noodles. And the owner is such a nice and funny guy. Talked to us a lot and told us about his life in NYC and Italy. We are now telling everyone we know about Giuseppe's. We will be back soon!
This has got to be the best Italian I've had her in AZ. Everything make from scratch, you can definitely tell, and full of flavor. From the appetizer to dessert, it was all delicious. Not to mention the friendly staff and owner. We'll definitely be back.
$16 a plate of pasta, ok. At first I was concerned with the minimal amount of pasta. Then I tasted it. #Sad I was glad that it was so little of it. The Suppli Di Riso... It was a ball of overcooked rice mush... The zucca ravioli was more like dessert. I was so truly disappointed and felt ripped off by their prices for what we received both in quantity and quality.
This place is great! It's a small venue, and it is not a fancy environment but the food is DELICIOUS, authentic and reasonably priced. Hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in Arizona! I moved kind of far away from it, but despite that fact I still make it a point to go at least once a quarter. If you haven't been, give it a try. You can thank me later. 😁🙏
Wow! I was so impressed to see they had homemade Cavatelli! I didn't even make it past the first item on the menu. The cavatelli with a gorganzola cream sauce with beets. It was amazing. The bruschetta was really great also. I definitely will be going back for more!
The fiancé and I ordered takeout for pickup (more $ in Giuseppe’s pocket) yesterday for date night. He wanted the Ravioli Quartet and I always want Carbonara. We also got a house salad and tiramisu. It was so good, I didn’t take any photos. The woman who took our order over the phone was delightful. She asked what kind of sauce I wanted for the ravioli, and I asked her for suggestions. She said the rosé was delicious (white and red). Fiancé agreed! And, when I ordered the Carbonara, she asked if I wanted peas! Yes, please. Carbonara was made with pappardelle pasta and soooo good. Better than other Italian restaurants in the area. House vinaigrette is fire! Love. Giant slice of tiramisu. Great portions. And, we were sad we didn’t order the Bolognese Ragu. Next time we’ll do that.
The photos say it all!! The pasta with sausage, and a beet, and Gorgonzola sauce was amazing. We will definitely be returning.
The restaurant was very small, but service was still bad, the sign saying “as seen on food network” was a red flag. The owner was at another table arguing with another customer about how could she order baked ziti, it’s the simplest thing on the menu and went on about how that was a terrible order for over 5 minutes. The food took 30 minutes to get to us and we didn’t get the bread we ordered, and on top of that I found hair in my food. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
